Following the controversial dismissal of Toni Tapalovic, Bayern Munich has appointed their new goalkeeping coach, Michael Rechner.
The Bundesliga champions have sacked Tapalovic, who is claimed to have had a troublesome relationship with coach Julian Nagelsmann.
However Tapalovic was shut with membership captain Manuel Neuer, with whom he had labored for greater than a decade.
Neuer, who was injured for the rest of the season, resented his departure and expressed his disappointment in an interview with The Athletic, which led to criticism from many senior officers at Bayern.
The membership has now recognized Rechner as the person to initially work with Yann Sommer, who was signed after Neuer’s damage.
Rechner has been Hoffenheim’s first-team goalkeeping coach since 2015, working with Oliver Baumann.
